Here are a few of my favorite cake-related links:

Cakewrecks Blog - I think I'm a little addicted to this blog about "professional cakes that go horribly, hilariously wrong." I have been known to burst out laughing at work from thinking about some of these cakes. Yes, there's some true comedy on this site, and I promise that you'll never look at a cake the same way again.

Cake Central - This is the BEST place to get decorating ideas because decorators from beginners to professional post pictures of finished cakes here and the community comments on them. You can find pretty much anything! For example, let's say you wanted to make a cake with frogs on it. A search of "frog" in the gallery comes up with 19 pages with 50 pictures a page. Woah. Plus there is a place to post recipes and forums.

Ace of Cakes - I normally watch this show on the Food Network, but there are clips online as well. They make some kick butt cakes at Charm City Cakes. Check it out!

And this is not a cake link, but I'd like to do a "shout out" to my mom at The Quilted Jardin. Her speciality is making custom quilted wallhangings of people's pictures, whether it's their dog or house or vacation landscape or whatever. I am amazed at what she can do with material. I am her webmaster of sorts, and I recently redesigned her website. It is looking pretty darn nifty. :-)
